Stronger Together

Stronger Together: Why We Share

Brothers, what we are building here goes far beyond an organization – we are creating a living well that every one of us can draw from.

When one of us posts a sermon, a Bible lesson, or a word of encouragement, we multiply our reach. Your insight sparks a revelation in a fellow pastor across town or across the state. Your Bible lesson equips a brother who is preparing for Wednesday night service. Your testimony of what God did in your congregation plants faith in someone who needs it right now. We each carry something the others need.

Our denominations differ. Our styles differ. Our congregations differ. And that is exactly what makes this space so powerful. Iron sharpens iron – and Black preachers sharpening Black preachers produces a cutting edge that the Kingdom of God demands in this hour.

Every sermon posted here is a seed. Every lesson shared is a gift. Every resource added to this community says: I see you, I support you, and I believe in what God is doing through you.

So start posting. Start sharing. Start teaching, encouraging, and inspiring one another. We hold each other accountable in the pulpit the same way we hold each other accountable in life – with love, with excellence, and with purpose.

The harvest is too great for any one of us to work alone. Together, we cover more ground.

To God be the glory. 🙏🏾

Appreciate the words. Jesus wants us to be one as they (Father,Son,Holy Spirit are one). The disciples each had their own growing pains. They wanted to be in the favor of Jesus. Jesus being the Master Teacher, was always teaching and then bringing what He was teaching into action upon what He taught. When we come to understand that everything we are exposed to is preparing us for application, This is why it is so imperative for members to come to church on Sundays so they can be taught and their foundation will be stronger. However, if they come every now and then they are easy pickings because they missed what God has for them from previous weeks. Each disciple had a different insight to Jesus because of their life experiences. When they learned after Christ’s Resurrection it then became clear to them that they know we are Christians by the love we have for one another. I’m still here because I understand what our Father is doing. There is only one church, one faith and one baptism. Man can rationalize many things but God is and will always be the righteous judge. I’m thankful to my Father for UGI. I recognize that everyone may not comprehend what God is doing. When we truly learn to quit looking at I but look at we, then as was written we will begin to see God’s plan come to fruition. I pray for each person who is a part of this UGI that they will be prepared for what God is about to do. I’m excited for UGI and I’m grateful that God is saying to us I see your works just stay with your first love. Love the ministry, love your spouse, love the people and love your calling. He said my burden is light, let us yoke up with him. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such a great organization. Brother Patrick
